This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations of MessageBot India Pvt Ltd services.
General Refund Policy
We strive to provide the best possible service to our customers. However, we understand that circumstances may arise requiring a refund. This policy explains when and how refunds are processed for our SMS, Voice, WhatsApp, and other messaging services.
Eligibility for Refunds
1. Unused Credits
Refunds for unused credits may be considered within 7 days of purchase under the following conditions:
- No messages have been sent using the purchased credits
- The account has not been used for any API integrations
- No promotional or discounted pricing was applied
- A valid reason for the refund request is provided
2. Service Failure
If our services fail to deliver messages due to technical issues on our end, you may be eligible for:
- Credit refund for undelivered messages
- Service credit for future use
- Partial or full refund depending on the severity of the issue
3. Billing Errors
If you are charged incorrectly due to a billing error, we will promptly investigate and refund the incorrect amount once verified.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:
- Messages sent to invalid or inactive mobile numbers
- Messages blocked by telecom operators due to content violations
- DND (Do Not Disturb) rejections by recipient networks
- Partial usage of purchased credits
- Requests made after 30 days from the date of purchase
- Credits purchased during promotional offers or at discounted rates
- API integration or setup fees
- Used credits or partially consumed packages
Cancellation Policy
Subscription Services
For monthly or annual subscription plans:
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
- No refunds will be provided for the remaining period of the current billing cycle
- You will continue to have access to services until the end of the paid period
One-Time Purchases
One-time credit purchases can be cancelled only if no credits have been used and the request is made within 24 hours of purchase.
Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Contact our support team at support@messagebot.in
- Provide your account details and reason for the refund request
- Include any relevant documentation or evidence
- Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
- If approved, refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Service Credits vs. Refunds
In some cases, we may offer service credits instead of monetary refunds. Service credits can be used for any MessageBot services and do not expire. The decision to offer service credits or monetary refunds is at our discretion based on the circumstances.
Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision, you can escalate the matter by contacting our customer support manager at customercare@messagebot.in. We will review escalated cases and provide a final decision within 15 business days.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
